The City of Vesta is a Statutory "Plan A" city governed by a mayor, who serves a two-year terms and four council members; all of whom are elected to staggered, four-year terms. All regular city elections are held in conjunction with the state and federal general elections in even-numbered years. The City Council holds regular meetings the second Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Vesta Community Center.
